 Goldfish including Shubunkins, Lionheads & Fantails can equally be fed with flakes or pellets. Flakes allow smaller fish to take smaller bites and floats on surface whereas pellets are easier to dose and sink to the bottom where larger goldfish naturally look for food. API Goldfish Food includes spirulina, to enhance the vibrant colors of your goldfish, as well as garlic for appetite appeal, and it contains brewers dried yeast to provide essential micronutrients.

 Tropical Fish, Tetras, Angelfish, Discus, Barbs, Guppies 
 
 Most tropical fish can equally be fed with flakes or pellets. Flakes allow smaller fish to take smaller bites and float at the surface whereas pellets are easier to dose and sink to the bottom where some fish naturally look for food. API Tropical Flakes are ideal for community tanks with different species. API Tropical Pellets exist in two different sizes, therefore are suitable for smaller mouth fish such as Gouramis and baby Cichlids.

 Bottom Feeders, Catfish, Loaches 
 
 Some fish such as Catfish and Loaches are commonly called Bottom Feeders because they find their food at the bottom of the aquarium. 
 
 API Bottom Feeders are shrimp formulated sinking pellets that will fall directly to the bottom of the aquarium. Also suitable for Plecos.

These fish may eat unsightly algae but must have an additional source of food or they will starve. API Tropical Green Flakes are rich in algae and are also suitable for herbivorous cichlids such as Tropheus & Mbuna.
